A new study finds church attendance declining amongst African-Americans

The results of the Pew Research Center poll mirror what’s happening in virtually every other racial group and in the U.S. at large.

While over 70% of black senior citizens say they attend worship services regularly, only about 50% black Millennials do so and the numbers fall off even further amongst Generation Z — the youngest African-Americans.

Older people are more likely to attend majority-black congregations — younger people, less so.
