A victory for religious freedom in New York

The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has issued an order that will prevent New York from interfering in a Christian adoption agency’s work — at least for now.

New Hope Family Services is challenging a state law that would bar the agency from operating because it refuses to place children with homosexuals or unmarried couples.

The injunction will hold while the court case plays out.

Alliance Defending Freedom is representing New Hope.
