Biden touts spending plan in Michigan as Dems still differ

President Biden traveled to the Midwest to make a case for his economic agenda, which is bogged down by Democratic division.
The president escaped the gridlock of his own party with a visit to Howell, Michigan, in a county won by Donald Trump in 2020. He said there’s a lot of “noise” coming out of Washington over his legislative proposals.
There’s bipartisan support for an infrastructure bill, but Republicans –and some Democrats– oppose the president’s social spending plan.
