Low-fare airlines reservations systems affected by malware attack

Another business has been hit by hackers

A malware attack is still affecting reservations systems at about 20 low-fare airlines around the world. The airlines use an American technology provider called Radixx. They company says it noticed unusual activity in its reservations program on Tuesday and is still working to restore service. Radixx is owned by Texas-based Sabre Corp. The timing could hardly be worse for start-up Avelo Airlines, which can’t process reservations as it prepares for its first flight next week in California. Keith Peters reporting.
