Biden, Dems to reduce size of $3.5 trillion social spending bill

President Biden and fellow Democrats are working to reduce the size of his 3-and-a-half trillion dollar legislative proposal.
After he was unable to close the deal with congressional Democrats on his legislative agenda last week, the president argues that he’s close.
The two Senate Democrats not on board yet are Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona. The president also acknowledges that his 3-and-a-half trillion dollar proposal will be scaled back.
