Biden mourns Indiana shooting victims, renews call for gun control

President Biden is mourning the loss of life in the mass shooting at a FedEx facility in Indiana and renewing his call for gun control. In a written statement, the president says  “God bless the eight fellow Americans we lost in Indianapolis and their loved ones, and we pray for the wounded for their recovery.” Mr. Biden goes on to say that “gun violence is an epidemic” in this country and that too many Americans are dying every single day.” He calls on Congress to pass gun control measures and is ordering the flag lowered to half-staff in honor of the Indiana shooting victims.
