Biden urges unity after Buffalo mass shooting, will visit NY on Tue

President Biden is urging unity after the deadly mass shooting at a Buffalo, New York, supermarket. In the aftermath of the massacre, the president said “hate…remains a stain on the soul of America.”  Speaking at the annual National Peace Officers’ Memorial Service honoring fallen law enforcement officers, he said the country grieves for the families of those killed, in what he called a “senseless and horrific shooting.” He and the first lady plan to travel to Buffalo on Tuesday to meet with members of the community.
