The White House welcomes legislation to allow around-the-clock security protection for families of Supreme Court justices.
House lawmakers overwhelmingly gave final approval to a bill that expands security for Supreme Court families. The vote came one week after a man with weapons was arrested near Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s house after threatening to kill the justice. White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre says President Biden has condemned such intimidation and supports the expanded security legislation. The Senate passed the bill unanimously last month.
