Four Trump advisers subpoenaed by January 6th House committee

The House committee investigating the January 6th riot at the U.S. Capitol has subpoenaed four advisers and associates to former President Trump. The Democrat-led panel is demanding records and testimony from four of Donald Trump’s close advisers who were in contact with the former president before and during the events of January 6th. Among those subpoenaed are former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows and former Trump adviser Steve Bannon. They are being asked to appear at depositions in mid-October. There are two Republicans on the select committee and both are Trump critics.
