Measles halts Afghan evacuee flights bound for the U.S.

All U-S-bound flights of Afghan evacuees have been halted for health safety concerns.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki says the incoming evacuee flights have been “temporarily paused” because of four diagnosed cases of measles among arriving Afghans.
Psaki notes that all arriving Afghans are currently required to be vaccinated for measles as a condition of entry into the United States.
