Supreme Court justice won’t block college vaccine mandate

A Supreme Court justice is refusing to block Indiana University’s vaccination requirement for students and employees. Eight students made an emergency request, asking the high court to bar the university from enforcing the mandate. Seven of the students qualify for a religious exemption. But Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett refused to block the vaccination mandate. The decision was up to Barrett, who handles emergency matters from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, which includes Indiana.
