The Supreme Court sets a date

VERBATIM: The justices say they will hear arguments December 1st on a Mississippi law that bans most abortions after 15 weeks. In court filings, the state has urged the court to overrule Roe versus Wade, as well as the 1992 decision in Planned Parenthood v. Casey that prevent states from banning abortion before viability. Pro-life and pro-abortion groups have filed a slew of briefs on the Mississippi case. A ruling is expected to be released next summer. Michael Harrington, SRN News.
