U.S. to donate 500M COVID-19 vaccine doses to poor countries


President Biden has unveiled plans for the U-S to buy 500-million doses of the Pfizer vaccine to share with the world.

On Day Two of his trip to Europe, the president announced that the U-S will donate half-a-billion vaccine doses to 100 poor countries hard-hit by COVID-19.

He said the shipments will begin in August with 200-million doses delivered by the end of the year. Mr. Biden said the goal is “save as many lives” as possible.
