Religious News

A group of faith leaders come out against religious freedom.

1,300 liberal Christian, Muslim and Jewish leaders have filed a
friend-of-the-court brief in the looming case of a Christian baker, sued for
refusing to make a cake for a homosexual wedding.

The brief states "Personal religious views are entitled to the utmost
respect, but do not provide a license to disregard civil rights laws
that do not substantially burden actual religious exercise."

The case of Colorado baker Jack Philips goes before the
Supreme Court next month.
