Insurer Aegon upgrades financial guidance

(Reuters) – Dutch insurer Aegon on Thursday revised upwards its guidance for full-year operating capital generation and free cash flow between 2021 and 2023.

The group forecast operating capital generation from the units to land at around 1.4 billion euros ($1.44 billion) in 2022, against about 1.2 billion previously.

It also said it expected to achieve cumulative free cash flow over the period 2021 to 2023 of at least 2.2 billion euros, well above its previous target of 1.4 to 1.6 billion.
