Trump works on Israeli-Palestinian peace plan

The Trump Administration has begun work on an Israeli-Palestinian peace plan. The New York Times reports a team of experts is developing a proposal to end hostilities between the Palestinians and Israel — an achievement that has eluded multiple presidents. The Times reports that the new blueprint will be built around the idea of a two-state solution, with placement of the borders to be the critical issue. There will be many other tough problems to solve, however. They include the final disposition of Jerusalem, which both Israel and the Palestinians claim, and the right of Palestinians to reclaim property they abandoned in Israel decades ago.
